Hi, I’m Andrew and I’m making a game. It’s a VR game about flying very very fast that so far, even VR-sickness sufferers are able to handle, so I’m pretty excited about it.
You might have noticed I didn’t title this post with “Hello World” . That should be your first hint about what the tone of the blog will be, because I don’t plan for it be very code-heavy (though if I come up with anything interesting I’ll probably share it here). I’m more interested in discussing the reasons behind my design decisions, and the learning process that comes from releasing a game that I hope people will be willing to shell out for.
I’ll introduce the game itself in more detail in a future post, but for now I just wanted to set the scene – don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of GIFs of fancy particle effects and cool weaponry in the weeks to come!
